I bought these dryer balls to hopefully provide softness and faster drying time for my clothing. I’ve only used them once so far but I love that they are free of chemicals and I’m not adding dryer sheet waste to the environment.
Paula Hulse –
Just started using them and they are ok. Tee shirts etc. are very soft and nice, socks seem different and I know the dryer sheets are not recommended for most dryer, so I saw how they worked for my son and now I am using them. Good luck with your new business.
dphaywards –
I haven’t use the product yet, but the whole point of using these is to not produce waste. The packaging that came with them was mostly plastic. While I like the idea of the wool dryer balls, I think they could execute it better.I’ll update this after I’ve used the product for awhile.
Joan Handtke –
Only used a few time but so far they seem pretty good. I have not been using dryer sheets for a while as the clothes were looking dingy from the residue on the dryer sheets. The wool balls seem to soften and lessen the static.
hvymtl169 –
Really like the value for what you get!
Chesapeake Gal –
These seem to work. I want to get away from dryer sheets, so I’m giving these. I do notice that there is a bit of static in the load, but not enough to stop using these wool balls. Glad I bought them.
Anonymous –
So far these are great I scent them with my own essential oils and they come out lovely. I haven’t seen any reduction in wrinkles yet but I’ll be sure to update.
J. Jolly –
Have used these dryer balls for a week and I love them! My towels especially come out fluffier and dry more quickly than they did before. I really like not having to use dryer sheets anymore since they tend to clog up my dryer screen and I have to clean it weekly.
Joan machado –
It’s amazing that wool balls can do the same thing as fabric softener…….they will save me money in the long runon electricity, and fabric softener too! I like trying new products that can save me money and time.Just one problem……they make noise………lol. I’m glad my dryer is in the basement
Ming –
These don’t get out all the static but I love them! I have saved so much money and cut my waste down a lot!
shelly –
I love that I’m no longer using dryer sheets! The wool balls are soft and leave no scents on the clothes (unless you add an oil). Only concern is the static electricity that is in the clothes, I’m hoping that it decreases as I use the balls linger.
Keegan Haertling –
I like them they work pretty well it seems to help cut the drying time down quite a bit overall I’d give it 4 and 1/2 Stars
zazie –
but it’s probably my fault because I put only two of the balls in a large dryer and the result was ok. Next time I will put all six balls in the large dryer with the beach towels and will give a new review than
Linda J. –
What more can I say other than I am going to tell my daughter and recommend that she also buy a set. I’m giving only a 4 star rating right now because I’ve done only 3 loads of laundry. But, I’ll say it again: I believe these work as described. Thank you.
Cat M –
I haven’t used dryer sheets in years but I’ve been looking for an alternative to dry our clothes more quickly as well as leaving the soft. I use six wool balls in each load and I could tell a difference with the very first load. Now the test will be how long they last doing this wonderful job on our clothing. If you’re questioning if you should purchase them I’d say Yes!
gloria900 –
I don’t use chemicals in my home and I am allergic to almost all scents. I found the wool dryer balls on amazon and so far I love them. They do everything the company says they will do. I was really surprised at the amount of lint, hair and fuzz that they pull off of my black clothes. They are well worth the cost!
Carol –
You know that I had my doubts about all these things the balls were advertised to do. So I tried them. I gave them tries and I was amazed at what the balls actually do. I have cut out my fabric softeners. Hopefully my electric bill will prove that shorter drying will reduce my bill.I like them so much that I bought them formy daughters and sister.
KD Bloodworth –
I used these wool balls for the first time yesterday. Our clothes seem just as soft if not more than using fabric softeners or dryer sheets. So far I like them but towels will be the real test. My sheets came out lovely. I’ve very surprised as I had my doubts.
KITTY CAT –
after the 3rd use the balls starting working much better was a little surprised that they were made in China not New Zealand
AliUs –
I’ve only had this product just over a week so I’ve only been able to use these once. After two loads, I can say, all the clothes smelled nice and they were static free. I was expecting static with such a big load but there was absolutely none. I used 4 out of the 6. The clothes did seem soft as well.
SG Reader –
I purchased these wool dryer balls because reviews said clothes came out with less wrinkles. Hasn’t happened for me. But I do like that I’m not leaving chemicals on my clothing.
Debbie –
Great so far.
Catalina –
Works and love that it’s better for the environment

works great
Honey Johnson –
Static, wrinkle free and softness were good… scent is not great.
Anonymous –
I noticed that it helped with dewrinkling my clothes
KATHY STANTON –
They didn’t appear to shorten drying time for me. There is no scent except if your have scented laundry soap. Some items came out wrinkled. But the jeans were unwrinkled and soft. So that’s a success.
cindi lu –
I’ve had great results with towels and jeans so far as far as NO static at all. Haven’t seen much difference in drying time though. My friend has a different brand that smell weird…these have no scent I can detect which is what I wanted!
Anonymous –
Using my essential oils for the scent, does away with dryer sheets that have to be disposed of. Also, little or no ironing, yeah!

While I loved how towels came out fluffier, I do not like the amount of static electricity caused with blankets and bedding. I’ve only used them on about 5 loads. I would like to know how to remove the fuzz that remains on the balls. All in all, I will continue to use the balls WITH dryer sheets.
Mitzie –
I just used them for a load of lightweight items and then a load of heavy weight items. In both, the clothes dried quickly and came out soft. When I only had two items left in the dryer, they usually press together and come out wrinkled. Not this time! And the balls do lift the clothes so they dry quicker. A good buy!
Spaniel Mom –
I was really excited to get these. I wear a lot of linen and no matter what you do, it comes out of the dryer wrinkled! These are great for keeping the wrinkles away. I hung my shirts up as soon as the dryer stopped, just smoothed them out with my hands and that was all they needed. I found that they weren’t soft at all. Maybe that’s why there were no wrinkles but I still like soft. Over all, I will use them with my linens and cottons and probably continue to use fabric softener with my towels
Clau –
Cloths did come out a little wrinkled but over all it was what I needed.
Terri –
Very happy with these wool dryer balls ! They help to keep things fluffed up in dryer so things so things seems a little less wrinkly. I try to unload as soon as dryer shuts off !
Donna Reid –
I like these balls and think they do a very good job softening my load and I don’t detect a scent which is important to me. As for the wrinkle free, it’s hard to judge since I don’t have large loads of laundry but I can’t see a difference with the wrinkles. I’ve washed one load of sheets and don’t see any difference. I do recommend these for the other reasons I’ve stated.
Steve Peluso –
After the first couple of uses, this product has softened clothing and provided a healthy fragrance. So far so good
Anonymous –
I have used 100% organic wool dryer balls several times and found that they work best in a big load of wet articles such as towels or bed sheets. For small loads I did not see the same results.
Cathy S. –
Seems to pull dampness out quickly
C. Murphy –
So far, they have done what they’ve promised. I have an older dryer so I’d probably get better results with wrinkle free aspect with a newer one. Pretty convenient to use, I just keep them on top of dryer in the bag. Only slight hassle is recovering them from clothing. Most of them are at the bottom of the drum when done but some you have to search for. I am satisfied.
Anonymous –
I love that you can add your own essential oils to the balls for a custom smell for your clothes. My clothes seem to be softer and I’ve cut my drying time by 10 min.
Tina maikisch –
The only down side to the dryer balls is the static cling they create. Otherwise they are great.
Christine Felts –
I’ve used these only once, but they seem to work okay. One thing I do miss is the Downy fragrance.
Anonymous –
Easy to use; easy to lose
BAK1017 –
No scent is key.
Abigail –
Drying my husbands t shirts the dryer balls did fine. I really did not notice any difference from using dryer sheets.
lucky lady –
Innovative item. A little expensive but over time the balls will pay for themselves. I find that there is more static in my clothes by using the dryer balls but over all a good product.
J. Kerans –
Used only once so far. Seem to be good but sheets got all rolled into a ball! Otherwise fine. Will continue to use. Love the natural aspect. I think dryer sheets were affecting my health.
lakeforklady –
The warping doesn’t affect the effectiveness. I use 3 of the balls. They are not as loud as my previous plastic balls were. Work the same. The old plastic ones absorbed the colors of the clothes and looked grungy. BUT These do NOT.If you don’t use them, you should. Lots cheaper than the sheets, and no scent ( gave 5-star because of No Scent). Which is a plus in my book.
Frwyexit –
I’m not sure that drying time has been drastically decreased but it has been decreased. I like having an ecological product too. I still use scent less fabric sheets to take the wrinkles out. I have eczema so most products I use are with that in mind.
Erin Dunagan –
I like that I can add my own scent to the balls with essential oils. Clothes are soft and fluffy. I bought some for my mom as a gift.
MilitaryGirl –
Used balls for the first time and while they did great with my sheets, towels, and non-polyester/nylon items they were disappointing when used with polyester/nylon type clothing items. For those clothing items, they did not remove static or help them be cling-free.
Tri –
It fluffed up after first use but hopefully the wool won’t be falling apart. Clothes out of the dryer is still static with electricity. I use 3 for a medium load. Idk if it’s supposed to be like that. Overall, I like the product
RJ Wilson –
I’ve been using wool dryer balls for several years now. I would not call these XL. The fact that they’re made I China is another downfall.Other than that, they work pretty well.Shipping was very fast.
Peachy –
Like them. Very much
Anonymous –
These seemed to help our clothes dry more efficiently, and they came out soft with hardly any wrinkles. However, our clothes still came out super staticky.
ann g. –
I’m using these to soften my clothes and they are great.
M Swen –
First use and shirts came out wrinkle-free, no static electricity and no dryer sheet smell.
janet –
Love the fact that I do not have to use dryer sheets with chemicals in them. The dryer balls do a decent job of fluffing and keeping the laundry relatively static free. Perhaps if I used more than 6 balls for a large load, there would be no static whatsoever.
Peachy –
Seem to work as expected. Fast shipping.
D Hertz –
Just started using these, so not sure yet how they are doing. They have not saved drying time yet.
Elizabeth Newsome –
Just ok! Kind of small not as large as my other dryer balls.
Pamula G. –
I like that these are made in the USA.
Gadfly Girl –
I have a soft blanket I don’t like to wash because eventually it loses its softness. Recently I washed it, and dried it with three of these wool balls. My fingers were really impressed.I’ve only used them three times for drying, so I can’t comment on wrinkle-free. My impression is that they really don’t do much for wrinkles.I recently obtained organic essential lavender oil, and put it on the balls. The scent was subtle and enjoyable. It didn’t last long, but that’s OK because I wash with All Free & Clear, and use various combinations of hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda in my laundry. I.e., I want my clothes free and clear.P.S. I bought a second bag when they went on sale because I’m thinking of giving them as a gift.

I really like that I’ve found an alternative to liquid fabric softner that works on everything.
BamBoots –
First time purchase was skeptical but glad I tried them! Surprised by the way it seemed to soften clothes, light scent ( which I prefer)Easy to use. Only Slight negative is does not seem to eliminate static cling but that won’t deter me from purchasing again. Give it a try it’s inexpensive and much better for the environment.
Dorothy Binder –
fun product!
Paul perron –
Used them a few times, don’t know if they cut down on drying time, They held together, no lint coming off of them, wife will not use, allergic to wool! Fast shipping, got what I paid for, no complaint’s!
John Walters –
Product does a great job of making clothes dry quicker on a lower setting. Clothes are always soft, but not all wrinkles come out. There is no scent left by this product so I did not rate the scent. The biggest negative is this product does nothing to reduce the static cling. Still a great product as it does a better job reducing drying time!
Nadine1654 –
This is my first experience with woolen dryer balls! I love the wrinkle free experience but did notice that static cling is not completely removed. I also wish their was a scent, but not sure how that’s possible for this eco alternative. Still, I would buy again.
ginger douglas –
was not sure that they would save time but after compareing loads of towels i believe they do shorten dry time
santo greco –
Love these, no or very little static. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s so many, so they get stuck in the clothes or fall out of the dryer.
Jen –
They do help dry the clothes much faster, but I still have static cling in some clothing.
J –
Helps the clothes dry faster.. Amazing when you are on a tight schedule.
Heather –
These wooly balls are the best! I bought them because my dryer in my new home is not as efficient as I feel it should be. Can’t afford a new dryer right now so thought I would give the dryer balls a go. They are so cute and soft. And are gentle on my dryer and clothes! Also love that they are reusable since I am trying to reduce my carbon footprint. I bought a set for me, my mom, and an extra set to split in two for birthday presents for my co-workers who are very earth friendly gals. Just wondering when will I know when to replace them. I know they are good for 1000 washes, but really who will keep track of that? Also wonder if it is possible to make scented ones? Love my balls and can’t wait to share them with my friends and family!!!! 🙂
Christina Walker –
Got them quickly. Great condition and work great. Leaves some static in the clothes were I had none with dryer sheets. But I’m glad to not use dryer sheets anymore. I’m not using any oils to scent my clothes because my husband doesn’t like it. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Kristie Jo Stormer –
Love the wool dryer balls!!! I was hoping for a little less static than I’ve been left with recently but my clothes are drying faster and come out soft and wrinkle free!
