Not sure if I will keep product or not. The cloth bag smells like it’s been treated to protect against bugs, and the balls have a slight scent that is similar. I am worried that the heat from the dryer will accentuate the odor and that it will transfer to my laundry, so I am hesitant to even try out.Edit: I ended up returning. Thanks to all who responded.

They were SO loud I had to give them away. It sounded like I was drying a load of tennis balls. If my load of clothes had been four times larger perhaps I wouldn’t have heard them but I need to be thoughtful of my neighbors.

I hate to leave a negative review but I am so disappointed in these. They seem to keep my clothes from getting dry rather than help and the wrinkles are worse. I was really wanting to love these but I don’t. I’m sorry.

Lots of hype…. do a load with then load without. I saw no difference.

I wanted to like them, but there was a funky scent on them and the bag and my clothes didn’t smell as fresh. they didn’t dry anything any faster and there was a LOT of static with many of the loads.

I used these in 3 different weeks worth of laundry to give them a chance, but each time I ended up with terrible static cling in the load dried with these balls. So disappointed, and everything was VERY wrinkled. I gave it a chance, and missed my return window. These are worthless to me now. Not a good experience for me personally. I do not recommend, sorry that I wasted time and money trying them out.

A little disappointed, the clothes were wrinkly, and still had static.

Have a decent (Economic) dryer? These BALLS are NOT FOR YOU! They won’t beat the wrinkles out no matter how large or small (or how many balls) in a load of laundry, Bummed. Super organic person…sadly disappointed.

They don’t cut down on dryer time and some items are still static-y. They work, but not as well as you hope or think.

I bought these hoping it would reduce the static. It doesn’t at all. And it’s also supposed to Reece drying time which is does not.

I’m actually very disappointed in this product. I read the reviews and did my research before purchasing and was really excited to try these. Since using them, my clothes are covered in fuzz from the balls and are extremely staticky. They really don’t cut much time off drying either. Only good thing is my family doesn’t react to these. I really wanted to like these but unfortunately I will return to dryer sheets.

I think the clothes dry faster with the balls. Still get lots of static cling. I need to use a dryer sheet with 3 balls in dryer. It’s possible that they cause more cling than if I didn’t use the balls at all. I wouldn’t buy again because I was hoping for less static and that’s not happening, even when I use 3 balls.

They made literally no difference other than leaving little hairs on all my clothes. I thought it was a shedding process that would end but it just never stopped. They banged around in the dryer, waking up my baby every time I used the dryer. They didn’t get rid of wrinkles, they made no difference in the smell of my clothes, and they didn’t make my clothes softer. They were such a hassle to deal with. Every time I got stuff out of the dryer, they would fall into the basket and it was just really annoying. I got fed up and took them out a while ago but finally decided to write a review. In my opinion, they’re a waste of money.

I was tired of dryer sheets everywhere! So I searched and found these. Reviews seemed great. There is no scent I don’t care either way on that. They seem to help dry faster… my kid has the flu so I have done a million loads of sheets and pjs in the last 2 days. Every Time it’s such a static mess when I take the stuff out of the dryer! I didn’t see another review saying this? I wonder if I can return them…

I use dryer balls instead of fabric softener sheets in my dryer. They fluff up towels and clothes better than the greasy dryer sheets (better for the environment too). Have been using dryer balls for years and love the way they work out. Was a little disappointed that they were no longer “balls” after just a couple loads. They seem to have mostly become lumpy bumpy pear shaped balls They may work just as well but none of the others I’ve bought have ever done this. If it wasn’t for this fact I’d have given them 5 stars.
