This mat is of high quality and the perfect size. The vendor included an eyeglass case as a gift along with the mat. A more useful addition would have been an ironing cloth. No one who wears glasses needs yet another case.

This was purchased to use as an ironing aid in my quilting projects. I wish I had this years ago. My blocks are considerably flatter, which makes seam alignment more accurate. One thing I had not considered was the felt actually ¨holds¨ my piece while I am ironing – lessening the time I spend manipulating the piece. I have noticed no smells when the pad is hot. I have not burned myself on the surface of the pad. This was an investment that was worth every penny.
